The first vines were planted at Bethel Heights in 1977, making it one of the earliest vineyards in what is now the Eola-Amity Hills AVA, home to many of Oregon's most acclaimed vineyards and wineries. Our viticultural and winemaking practices have been refined over the decades to maximize the specific potential of each section of the estate vineyard. Now, as members of the next Casteel generation have come on board with a wealth of experience and fresh ideas, we remain committed to the principles that put Bethel Heights Vineyard on the map.
