Bjornson Vineyard is a family-owned estate in Oregon’s Eola-Amity Hills, founded and operated by Mark and Pattie Bjornson. Farmers first and hosts by nature, the Bjornsons believe in doing things properly because they live on this land and care deeply about its legacy.

Beyond winemaking, Bjornson is about connection – to the land and to our community. Whether collecting or exploring wine for the first time, visitors are welcomed as family. Through scientific stewardship of our two vineyards and the cultivation of rare historic grapes like Gouais Blanc, Bjornson delivers an experience both genuine and memorable.

Meet Our Winemaker

Scott Sabbadini

Read About Winemaker

Scott Sabbadini joined Björnson Vineyard in 2019 as Head Winemaker alongside Pattie Bjornson. Scott got a degree in Viticulture and Enology from UC Davis in 2006 after also spending a year at the Enological University of Conegliano in Italy. He then spent three years at Fieldstone Winery in the Alexander Valley of Sonoma making wines from a historic 100-year-old vineyard. In 2010, after returning from a vintage in New Zealand, Scott moved to the Columbia River Gorge of Washington where he worked with over 30 varieties of grapes at Maryhill Winery.

In 2016, Scott finally made it to the Willamette Valley, a longtime dream of his. He worked at Domaine Roy et Fils in the Dundee Hills for three years before heading to Argentina for a vintage. Upon his return, he was lucky to have met Pattie and Mark Björnson, and they have been making delicious wines together ever since.
