Nestled in the heart of Oregon’s picturesque Willamette Valley, our vineyard boasts breathtaking scenery that rivals the taste of our exceptional Pinot Noir. Speaking of wine, we specialize in Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Gamay Noir, but our latest obsessions include Gouais Blanc (introduced in 2023), along with Aligoté, Sauvignon Blanc, and more, all of which are making waves in the wine world. But here’s what sets us apart: we’re not just about the wine. We’re also committed eco-warriors, employing sustainable farming practices and renewable energy solutions. Because, let’s face it, saving the planet is pretty cool, right? So, hit the road and let’s sip some wine together. We’ll provide you with the best views and even better vibes. We can’t wait to welcome you to Björnson Vineyard—see you soon!

Meet Our Winemaker

Scott Sabbadini

Read About Winemaker

Scott Sabbadini joined Björnson Vineyard in 2019 as Head Winemaker alongside Pattie Bjornson. Scott got a degree in Viticulture and Enology from UC Davis in 2006 after also spending a year at the Enological University of Conegliano in Italy. He then spent three years at Fieldstone Winery in the Alexander Valley of Sonoma making wines from a historic 100-year-old vineyard. In 2010, after returning from a vintage in New Zealand, Scott moved to the Columbia River Gorge of Washington where he worked with over 30 varieties of grapes at Maryhill Winery.

In 2016, Scott finally made it to the Willamette Valley, a longtime dream of his. He worked at Domaine Roy et Fils in the Dundee Hills for three years before heading to Argentina for a vintage. Upon his return, he was lucky to have met Pattie and Mark Björnson, and they have been making delicious wines together ever since.

Unearth. Uncork. Unwind.
